Kingsbury Animal Hospital

I started taking pictures in high school (Clayton for those of you from St. Louis). I was a photographer for the yearbook and newspaper. I initially went to college at Mizzou for photojournalism… but some how ended up with a degree in Film Production from SIUC. For ten years I worked in the motion picture industry and became a successful assistant director.   However, I’ve come to realize that a career in the movie business isn’t going to provide me with the personal life that I really want. It was an awesome job but the hours and lack of control over where and when I work just didn’t fit anymore. It’s tough to balance a personal life when you have to leave home for 4-6 months and work 16+ hour days.

A couple of years ago I picked up a camera again and started shooting for fun. Mostly landscape and fine art type stuff. Then last summer I shot a couple of weddings for friends and realized that, not only do I have a talent for it, but I absolutely loved doing it. When I loaded the first group of pictures on my computer I got goose bumps.

I don’t want you to read about how passionate and excited I am to be doing this… I’d love for you to meet me in person and see for yourself.  I want to find out about you and your pets and what  makes them unique and special!

I hope to hear from you!
