Stephen A. Brammeier, D.V.M.
is a lifelong St. Louis resident, graduating from McCluer High School in 1968. He received his DVM from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1975. Prior to opening Kingsbury Animal Hospital in 1978, Dr. Brammeier served as a clinician for two years at the Animal Emergency Clinic. Special interests include dentistry, behavior, internal medicine and dermatology. Post-graduate education includes diplomas from the North American Veterinary Post-Graduate Institute in Applied Clinical Behavior and Dermatology. He is a member of the Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practice, American Veterinary Dental Society and the American Society of Animal Behavior. Outside of veterinary practice Dr. Brammeier enjoys Yoga, bicycling, theater and traveling with his life partner, Hugh.
Erica N. Fry, D.V.M.
is a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. As an “army brat” she spent her childhood moving around the United States, but then completed her undergraduate and veterinary education in central Missouri. After practicing in northern Alabama for several years, she moved back to the Midwest and joined our staff in the summer of 2008. Dr Fry's special interests include preventative medicine and internal medicine. She particularly enjoys the challenges of feline internal medicine. In her free time she enjoys reading, volleyball, and college sporting events. She and her husband Jeremy love to travel and spend time with their 3 cats and 2 dogs.

Bret Shaw, D.V.M.
is a 1999 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his BS in elementary education and a masters in Elementary Administration at Southwest Missouri State University. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Shaw taught 6th grade in Springfield, Missouri for four years. His interests include ophthalmology and internal medicine. Dr. Shaw also enjoys running, camping and hiking.
