Our Externship Program provides third- and fourth-year veterinary students the opportunity to truly immerse themselves into primary care practice. Students receive hands-on experience in a collaborative, team-mentality environment and will focus on developing skills in diagnostic and radiograph interpretation, diagnosing conditions, creating treatment plans, surgery, point-of-care ultrasound, communication, and more. Students have the opportunity to perform physical exams, hone their technical skills, and assist in surgery and procedures.
